I created this piece in a response to the still ongoing Russio-Ukrainian war. A story came out of a woman walking up to a group of Russian soldiers and telling them that Ukraine will be the successors of this war, and that in preparation for their loss, they should put sunflower seeds in their pockets so when they die on Ukrainian soil, at least something beautiful can come of it.
