The original Nauvoo Temple was dedicated in 1846, but it was soon abandoned and slowly destroyed. This near replica was completed on the original site in 2002.

The Louisville Kentucky Temple is the 76th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is located in Crestwood, Kentucky, a suburb of Louisville. President Thomas S. Monson, of the First Presidency of the Church, dedicated the Louisville Kentucky Temple on March 19, 2000. The dedication was held after a weeklong public open house.
