Antique Carved Pear Wood Chinese Door Of Hope Child Doll 12 inches | eBay
12-inches, A "Door of Hope-type" doll. Often mistaken for Door of Hope Mission dolls, these dolls are from unknown makers. The carving of the heads and hands are similar to later DOH dolls, but obviously different once you become familiar with the DOH's. The hands are shorter and fatter, the face much rounder, as are the eyes. Also, the hairstyle on this doll is only on the DOH babies.
