Although Australian squadrons flew the Hurricane in the Middle East, only one of the type ever reached Australia itself and this was Mk.I,V7476, which originally arrived wearing standard Dark Earth and Dark Green colours with Sky Blue undersides. This scheme was eventually overpainted with silver finish seen her complete with Blue and White RAAF roundels and although it was allocated the Australian serial A60-1, this was never applied. The Hurricane is seen here at RAAF Point Cook in a derelict
