Hungarian People's Republic. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels statue at Memento Park (Szoborpark) open air museum in Budapest, Hungary. The author of the granite statue was the Hungarian sculptor György Segesdi who finished it in 1971. Originally the monument stood at Jászai Mari Square in Budapest. Today it can be seen at the Memento Park (Szoborpark) in Budapest. Here are collected sculptural statues of the socialist era, which previously adorned the country's squares (until 1989).
