The world's eyes were on Suez when, on November 4, 1956, Moscow rolled 2,500 tanks and 120,000 troops into Budapest. Hungarians, hoping to evict their Soviet overlords, had recently decapitated a statue of Stalin in their capital.

In 1956 in Budapest,Hungary there were many anti communist riots. The soviet troops had to end the riot.
