Low FODMAP Foods
Do you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, where you often feel bloated and suffer from constipation and/or diarrhea? Do your symptoms worsen if you eat a lot of garlic or onions? Then you may benefit from doing a low FODMAP diet. FODMAP is an anacronym for fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols. They are a group of sugars that may be difficult to digest. People with IBS often show significant improvement when they avoid these foods.
