Hippo Ballerina
Hippo Ballerina by Danish artist Bjørn Okholm Skaarup, across the street from the Lincoln Center. The 15-feet tall sculpture pays homage to the ballet hippos in Walt Disney’s beloved Fantasia as well as Degas’ famous statue, Little Dancer Aged Fourteen. Photo by me, Louisa Wah.
