Henrietta Harris is an artist and illustrator from New Zealand who has created a series of seemingly unfinished portraits. Each drawing is a portrait with the subjects face missing — instead, the crisp black and white images are focused on fine lines and clean shapes. The hair on the subjects is incredibly detailed but the facial area of the image is completely blank. For more of her work, check out Harris’ website.

Percabeth Fanart by Burdge bug This sketch. Burdge must be a wizard because I have no idea how she manages to convey such deep emotion in seemingly simple sketches like these. Just look at Annabeth's eyes, there are a million emotions, and even though we can't see Percy's face you can sense what he is thinking through body posture alone. This is great

All that hair would be so hard to draw. :)

Sketchbook or journal idea: I am always thinking, writing and working with images. Fun to think of writing inside the female face, kind of like thinking inside the lines
