Ive sun bleached it 3 times and it turned out fabulous! Only a few faint age spots left that may come out with another soaking.

Mantle Date: late 19th century Culture: Hungarian Medium: wool, leather, metal

Hungarian szür = derived from mantles over 2500 years old. The garment was worn by shepherds mostly. Their thick wool felt was protective against cold and wet (long collars had roundels at the lower corners to form a hood).
