Debrecen, Hungría. Sin dudas la Gran Iglesia es el símbolo, y la imagen del edificio amarillo se multiplica en postales y souvenirs. También la ciudad tiene una larga historia: en 1848, la capital de Hungría se traspasó de Budapest a Debrecen, pero sólo por un corto tiempo. Durante la segunda Guerra Mundial se la destruyó casi por completo, el 70% de los edificios sufrieron daños, casi la mitad no quedó en pie. En 1944, después de la batalla de Debrecen, se logró su total restauración.
