Feb 13, 2017 - Bergmännisch Glück Mine, Frohnau, Annaberg-Buchholz, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany - Nice crystal cluster of so called "Rainbow-Fluorite" from the famous find in Frohnau near Annaberg in the Ore Mts. Saxony in 2005. Only two vugs were found. The material has a nice coloration especially when backlit. This fluorite crystal cluster is well formed in a multistepped way - with a silky lustre. The crystals measure up to about 4.4 cm (stepped crystal on the top). This kind of fluorite is very rare and highly requested because of the quality of coloration and the small available quantity. A few smallest golden chalcopyrite crystals perched on its surface. Ingrown hematite particles are building a reddish counterpart in the green to blue backlit shot coloration.
