20min · 2 servings Caramelized Upside Down Apple Tart Recipe • Ingredients: • Rolled puff pastry • 1 apple, sliced • Maple syrup • Sunflower seeds • Egg yolk • Icing sugar for dusting • 1. Pour 1 tbsp maple syrup on a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 tsp sunflower seeds. Place 2 round slices of apple on the maple syrup and cover with a round piece of puff pastry bigger than the apple diameter. • 2. Brush with egg yolk and bake at 180c for 20 minutes until golden brown. • 3. CUCUMBER AND BEETROOT SALAD * 300 g cooked beetroot, sliced • * 2 small cucumbers, sliced • * 1 red onion, sliced • * 1 tbsp chopped dill • * 1 tbsp chopped parsley • * 1 tsp nigella seeds (optional) • * Handful of mixed salad leaves • * Feta cheese (optional) Dressing • * 30 ml olive oil • * 1 tbsp white wine vinegar • * 1 garlic clove, crushed • * Salt and pepper In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Meanwhile, whisk olive oil with vinegar and garlic. Season dressing to taste with salt and pepper. Combine with the vegetables and mix well. Top with salad leaves. 1hr · 4 servings APPLE PUFF PASTRY DESSERT Ingredients: • 2 Green Apples • 6 tablespoons Honey • 6 teaspoons Pistachios (Ante Pistachios) • 6 pieces Puff Pastry Sheets • Instructions: • - Place parchment paper on the bottom of a baking dish. Put 1 tablespoon of honey in each spot. Remember to leave some space between them) • - Place 1 teaspoon of pistachios over the honey and arrange sliced apples on top. • - Put a round-cut puff pastry sheet over the apples, press the edges, and brush with egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. • - After baking, flip the desserts and serve by dusting powdered sugar on top. • Bon appétit! (S)
