Students designed healthy recipes and gathered the items needed to make the recipes. The school partnered with a local food pantry, Feed My People, to promote their wellness program.
Great idea from the blog : Bake muffins, take stock of your freezer and donate what you won’t eat to the food pantry. One of my friends uses old lunch boxes to make homeless kits. She fills the lunch box with toiletries, cereal bars and a $5 bill, then she keeps a few kits in the car. When she is out and sees a need, she is ready for action!
