This nursery rhyme is a great way to provide some sensory input while connecting with your child!

This exercise provides physical touch and eye contact that can help promote calmness + strengthen the relationship between the child and caregiver!

Here are the words (to my version):

🤗 “Knead, knead the dough just right.” (lightly massage your child’s tummy)

🍞 “Slice, slice the bread looks nice.” (swipe the outside of your hands cross their torso in a slicing motion)

🧈 “Spread, spread some butter on your head.” (rub the top of their head by pushing their hair off their forehead)

🍯 “Jam on top to make you sweet” (tap their head with your fingers)

😋 “Now you look good enough to eat!” (nu

By the way, these adorable cushions she is lying on in the video are from @tokimats! They are incredibly soft, overstuffed bean bags, which are great for sensory input exercises! 🧡 | The Calm Caterpillar | Wallerstedt · Memories (slowed + reverb)
