PAIR OF DUTCH DELFT POLYCHROME ROYAL PORTRAIT CHARGERS, 1690-1700. Each painted in blue, yellow and green and depicting a half-length portrait of Queen Mary II beneath the initials "MR," and a portrait of William, Prince of Orange beneath the initials "WR," each flanked by large tulips and the lobed rim with matching border, the second marked RO 50 in underglaze-blue. Diameters 13 3/4 and 13 3/8 inches.
An English delftware blue-dash Royal Coronation portrait charger, probably London or Bristol, circa 1689-94, painted with full length portraits of King William III and Queen Mary II, the King dressed in an ermine- lined robe, wearing a crown and holding an orb and sceptre, the Queen wearing a crown and holding a fan, standing on a paved floor flanked by drapery and the initials WMR, the reverse with a lead glaze, some restoration to rim 34.3cm., 13 1/2 in.diameter
