4.75" height, 3” opening, holds 24 oz The dark clay used for this mug is fired to a deep, rich brown. Part of the exterior is left unglazed with light carving that enhances the natural texture of the clay. The glazed purple and blue/green interior, rim and handle give the piece a brightness of color, along with a contrast in texture with the natural clay. This wheel thrown stoneware mug is glazed with a combination of a light olive green celadon and an orange shino. It's shiny, light weight, and has a comfortable two/three finger handle. The tiny speck on the celadon are caused by the iron content in the clay showing through. Measures almost 3.75" tall x 5" wide (9.5 cm x 12.7 cm) at the handle and holds 12 oz.
