Judith Ann Braun using charcoal and her fingers to create stunning symmetrical abstract pieces. This artist's work really stood out to me as it reminded me of some of Beili Liu's work ('Yun Yan' collection) as there is a definite feeling of motion with everything flowing together. The use of charcoal also links well to my theme of fire

Coca Cola Gold Diet Coke - Artist Kate Brinkworth, Mark Jason Gallery. Love the inventive colors.
Ran Ortner - Swell, 2006 - oil on canvas—too real! brown, gold, beige, ecru
Hyper realistic painting, large scale but inclusive of small details. Time consuming but very effective both from close up and a distance. Would definitely want to attempt a painting of this scale.

LEARNT: keep asking is it a cool or warm 'grey', light or dark. This is the key to watercolours. Don't ask what colour is it and use the tube names. You could use any colors. Colour is not important - cool or warm is important and VALUE is important:
Un esquisse qui capture l'esentiel en détail et sugère le reste. En utilisant deux ou trois couleurs, l'artiste a réussi a évoquer l'esprit de chaque ville. J'adore!
