Tips for getting peonies to bloom year after year!
Part Shade Pot.
Its as simple as three plants. One that grows vertically for the wow factor. One that spills dramatically over the side of your pot. And one or two filler plants {depending on the size of your container} to liven up the empty space. The perfect container garden equation. Be sure to use both foliage and flowers. Try contrasting colors and textures to get the most dramatic look!
My mother taught me all about this rule when building my pots... It really makes my pots look awesome.
How to Prune Lavender - never prune in fall or winter and never cut back to the ground. Prune in spring and early summer after first leaf buds emerge to cut out dead wood and then prune again just after flowers fade - deadhead and shape plants then, leave at least 3 - 5 leaf nods below each flower spike, when shaping, leave at least 5 obvious nodes above the ground where new growth can emerge

It makes a gorgeous “thriller” plant in a big outdoor container -- with showy Tropic Escape mandevilla and hibiscus surrounding its base. Botanic name: Ravenea rivularis Care tip: Majesty palms like moist soil, but don’t allow them to dry out or sit in water.
