John Cleese - "For me, the great problem growing up in England was that I had a very narrow concept of what God can be, and it was damn close to an old man with a beard [...] God was treated like this powerful, erratic, rather punitive father who has to be pacified and praised. You know, flattered [...] I really did expect a golden haze to descend gently on my shoulders. Eventually, I switched out of disappointment to atheism."

It's not often you see a lovely black lady in fantasy art. It's a nice refresher from constant Eurpoean fantasy. I think people just become so focused on the unknown-- creating aliens, elves, dwarves, witches, etc. in their own image-- that they forget how beautiful the known and different can be. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Sketch-XXIII-399736043

Santa - Gerald Brom/ This Santa figure makes more sense to me regarding all he does. And I can totally see this Santa partnering with Krampus too.
