Classic Slow Cooker Pot Roast: The Comfort Food King 🍖🥔
Ingredients: 4 lbs chuck roast 4 carrots, chunked 4 potatoes, cubed 1 onion, chopped 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 cups beef broth 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp olive oil Salt and black pepper Fresh thyme or rosemary Instructions: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear roast for 3–4 minutes per side until browned. Place the roast in your slow cooker. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add to the slow cooker. Layer carrots and potatoes on top of the roast. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Set slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours, until the meat is tender and falling apart. Shred the beef with forks, mix with the veggies, and serve warm. Garnish with thyme or rosemary.
