The remains of the famous Roman Baths at Bath, Somerset, are actually below the modern street level. There are four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House and the Museum, which has Roman finds from the city of Bath. The buildings above street level date from the 18th and 19th centuries. Pictured is the smaller of the two baths - the Sacred Pool.
